AME is a world-class facility for exploring and developing tomorrow’s manufacturing and engineering technologies.
We work with key funders, academic partners and business to identify the strategic industrial challenges facing the UK and how we can overcome them to deliver global competitive advantage in electrification, digital manufacturing, and sustainable technologies.

Research and Funding
AME is continuing to target opportunities and contracts with a range of domestic and international funders, including Cenex, the EU Commission, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Innovate UK, the Advanced Propulsion Centre, and commercial projects directly funded by industry.
We have a proven track record for delivering projects on time and developing new technologies and products that can be immediately commercialised.
AME also offers:
