Chartered Legal Executive Apprenticeship
This programme lasts for five years and leads to qualification as a Chartered Legal Executive.
Apprenticeships are flexible and designed to offer a structured programme of learning to fit around the needs of the individual and the employer.
Learning takes place during working hours through the development of ‘on the job’ skills. However there is an ‘off the job’ training element which usually takes place away from work, for example, at Coventry University, on day release or over a number of days in a block. Both the ‘on’ and ‘off the job’ elements of the apprenticeship lead to nationally recognised qualifications awarded by CILEx.
The apprenticeship encompasses:
- All CILEx academic requirements – currently ten Level 3 units and six Level 6 units.
- Qualifying employment rules and work-based learning requirements.
- The completion of an extended case study.
