Having second thoughts about your university choices? Don't worry, if you're considering switching to Coventry University you can use the decline my place option.
In 2024 Clearing starts on 5 July and closes on 17 October at 6pm. Here you will find plenty of useful resources to offer advice and support, and to help you make the best decisions for your future.
If you have the grades you need to get into your first or second choice university, but you’ve changed your mind, you can use the ‘decline my place’ option to reject your offer and enter Clearing. You can then apply to another university/course through Clearing. To release yourself into Clearing:

Sign in to your UCAS Hub account and decline your place on your profile page
You'll need to answer some questions and confirm your decision
UCAS will then provide email confirmation that you’re in Clearing
