Our COVID-19 secure teaching and learning experience
From September 2021 we returned to as much face-to-face teaching on campus as possible, subject to government restrictions and guidance.
There are currently no coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions in the UK and we are back to full-time face-to-face teaching while continuing to follow government guidance to ensure a safe environment for our students and staff.
Students and staff in higher education settings are no longer expected to continue taking part in regular symptom-free testing and should instead follow asymptomatic testing advice for the general population.
While there is no legal requirement to wear a face covering or practice social distancing, students and colleagues should continue to feel supported to continue doing both if they wish and where it does not interfere with their work or studies. It is worth considering wearing a face covering when in more crowded places on campus to protect yourself and others, and we ask that everyone is respectful of those who choose to wear one or who wish to maintain social distance.
Please continue to exercise good hygiene – washing hands regularly and using the hand sanitiser that remains in place across campus.
