Course detail
The day will address common issues relevant to blood testing such as:
- Key aspects of pharmaco‐kinetics and pharmaco‐dynamics
- The use, action and side effects of analgesics and NSAIDs
- Drug actions and interactions and side effects of common medication
- Drug history assessment
Who should attend?
The course is aimed at Advanced Practice Physiotherapists, ESPs, Nurses, Osteopaths, Podiatrists and Health Care Practitioners working in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and rheumatology fields.
Tutor
Dave Baker ‐ Clinical Director for Complete Physio as well as the Chairman of the Association for Chartered Physiotherapists with an interest in Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection Therapy (ACPOMIT). Dave specialises in image guided injections, diagnostic ultrasound and prescribing and was one of the first physiotherapists to be given independent prescribing rights.
