Travelling to the UK
Birmingham International Airport is the nearest airport to CU Coventry, it is located just 20 minutes away from our campus. Alternatively, you could fly into Heathrow or Gatwick which are both based in London.
You will go through certain procedures before you can leave and travel to Coventry. The Immigration Officer may ask you for certain documents, which you should have ready in your hand luggage for inspection.
Documents for inspection:
- Passport
- Offer letter
- CAS
- Qualifications
- Bank statement used for your visa application
- Health documents e.g. TB screening
If the Immigration Officer refuses you entry, you may be removed immediately or given a very short period of temporary admission. Free Airport Meet and Greet Service
To help make your journey to the UK as easy as possible, FutureLets and CU Coventry have teamed up to safely transport you from the airport to your accommodation. The service will operate from both Birmingham and London Heathrow airports, and is offered for new, non-returning students only.
