Accelerated Degrees
CU Coventry can offer Accelerated Degrees for certain courses, allowing students who study with us to complete a full degree course in just two years.
Studying this mode will mean you will receive 18 hours of teaching each week alongside a 2 hour tutorial. You’ll attend morning or afternoon sessions every weekday, Monday-Friday. Classes will consist of no more than 50 students and are taught by academics and leading professionals.
Studying for an Accelerated Degree will require you to study six blocks per year. At CU Coventry students only study one module per block over the course of six weeks. During the block students will be required to complete two coursework based assignments, meaning there are no end of year exams.
Fees and Funding
Students studying via the accelerated mode are eligible for both tuition fee loans and maintenance payments.
Maintenance payments are split across the year in three instalments, which will ensure you’re funded throughout the academic year.
Multiple Intakes
There are two entry points during the year for Accelerated Degrees - September and January.
Example Course Structure
Year 1 and 2 | |
September | Block 1 |
October | Block 2 |
January | Block 3 |
March | Block 4 |
