Upgrade your memory
We know online learning is a new experience for many, particularly mature students.
New students at CU London get a technology induction at the start of their course. This covers how to use Aula (our virtual learning environment), SOLAR (our student online records platform), and Wayfinder (your online hub for navigating our services).
Our library team is equipped with an IT Academic Skills Tutor for your support. You can also book online learning time with specialist staff across all of our campuses. You may be surprised with how quickly it all comes to you.

This is an online set of tools, resources and learning activities to help you master essential digital skills that employers look for. Some examples include:

Power on your basics
Learning the fundamentals has never been easier.
Computer Basics workshops are widely accessible, short and usually free. Depending on your experience, they could teach you how to turn on and navigate a computer, how to type documents, how to use the internet and how to use email safely.
For a local example, Greenwich Learning offers a free Computer Basics Weekend Workshop as part of its community learning.
