Publication Scheme

Publication Scheme

Under The Freedom of Information Act 2000, universities are classed as public authorities. This requires the University to proactively make as much information available as possible by using a publication scheme.

The University has adopted the model publication scheme for Higher Education, as approved by the Information Commissioners Office (ICO). This sets out the information we are required to make available free of charge and is grouped into the classes listed below.

Who we are and what we do

What we spend and how we spend it

What our priorities are and how we are doing

How we make decisions

Our policies and procedures

Lists and registers

The services we offer

If you can't find the information you are looking for here, you can submit a Freedom of Information Request to the University’s Information Governance Unit by emailing enquiry.igu@coventry.ac.uk.

If we are able, we will provide the information subject to any relevant exemptions or charges.
