International scholarships, bursaries and discounts
There are lots of options available to you to help fund your studies at Coventry University, from alumni discounts to faculty scholarships and government loans. When it comes to funding, it’s important to start early. Here are some of the funding options we offer to help finance your studies.
New scholarships for May and September 2024
We are pleased to announce an exciting range of international scholarships and discounts for our May and September 2024 intakes. There is no application process but to receive the award, eligible applicants must have successfully completed the enrolment process for May or September 2024 as outlined in their offer letter.
- Vice-Chancellor Postgraduate Scholarship
Save £3,000 on your course tuition fee with our Vice-Chancellor Postgraduate Scholarship.
- Early Payment Discount
We are offering an additional £2,000 Early Payment Discount subject to terms and conditions.
- Vice-Chancellor Undergraduate Scholarship
Save £1,000 a year on your tuition fees with our Vice-Chancellor Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Direct Applicant Country Scholarship
Apply via our online application portal and you could be eligible for an additional scholarship in your first year.
Early Payment Discount
All Coventry University and Coventry University London international students (excluding EU) can save £2,000 on their course tuition fee starting this May with our Early Payment Discount.
There is no application process but this award is only available once applicants have successfully completed the enrolment process for May 2024 as outlined in their offer letter.
EU Support Bursary
Get a reduction in tuition fees with this EU bursary. The value of the bursary brings your tuition fees in line with that of UK students and will be automatically applied for all eligible EU students.
Our EU Support Bursary offers financial support to our European students wishing to study with us full-time for all years up to and including the 2026/27 academic year. If you normally reside in the EU and are starting your undergraduate or postgraduate taught course in September, January or May, you could be eligible for this reduction in your tuition fees.
International Pathways Scholarship
If you're studying on our International Pathways Programme you can secure extra financial support worth £3,000 to help with the cost of tuition fees, living expenses and accommodation.
Our high quality foundation and pre-masters courses are for international students who do not meet the requirements for direct entry to their preferred Coventry University undergraduate or postgraduate course. We can support you to achieve the academic and/or English grades you need and help you gain the personal and professional skills required to study at university.
Ukraine students 'home' UK fees
This scheme brings the tuition fees of students from Ukraine in line with that of UK students and will be automatically applied for all eligible students.
From 1 August 2022 any student from Ukraine who has been granted leave under the Ukraine Family Scheme, the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme, or the Ukraine Extension Scheme will be entitled to pay fees at the ‘home’ UK rate in England, as long as they meet all the criteria.
Alumni Discount
As a Coventry University alumni you'll have access to an exclusive range of benefits, services and networking opportunities designed to support your career aspirations. If you're considering postgraduate study you could benefit from a 25% discount to continue your studies with us this May or September 2024. This discount applies whether you are continuing in the same discipline or switching to a different subject or campus location.
We have a wide range of full-time and part-time postgraduate courses for you to choose from, you can be confident that you'll find a course to develop your skills and expertise.
Coventry University Sports Scholarships (limited)
Our Sports Scholarship programme consists of two levels and offers either £1,500 or £3,000 in a mixture of a cash bursary and support services per academic year.
Sports Scholarships are awarded competitively to approximately 40-45 students each year who have the sporting ability to represent the University at a high level. To be considered for one of these scholarships you must be competing in a sport which is part of the BUCS Sport, Olympic Sports or Paralympic Sports programmes.
