Pauline Maleyrie teaches on the BA Languages for Global Communication for the following modules: National Perspectives on Intercultural Studies; Introduction to Languages through International Relations; Introduction to Business Communication; Regional Perspectives on Intercultural Studies; Languages and Changing Power Structures; The Language of Marketing and Advertising and Creating an Intercultural Portfolio.
She teaches French, including Absolute Beginners and Lower Intermediate for which she is also Module Leader.
She contributes to the BA English Language and TEFL module Online Language Teaching, and she is Internal Moderator on the Teaching Young Learners module.
Career overview
Pauline Maleyrie holds a BA in English Languages from the Université de Cergy-Pontoise (France) and she is an Associate Fellow of the HEA. Before joining Coventry University in 2012, she gained a French Qualified Teacher Status and acquired wide experience as a teacher in several French schools. She is interested in language teaching through new technologies and manages the social media accounts of the Languages Department.
External activities
Pauline is external moderator on the TEFL Teaching Young Learner module. She also supports the Coventry City of Languages Community Action Group.
