Biography
With a professional background of mechanical engineering I spent more than 15 years in industrial and academic research activities related to composite manufacturing, modelling and simulation, material characterisation, mechanical testing and machining. My PhD studies (2006-09) were mainly focussed on the development of a computational model for forming simulation of textile composites from INSA de Lyon, France. Before joining Coventry University I worked as Senior Research Fellow in Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) and contributed in an automotive composite research project of VARCITY co-funded by Innovate UK and JLR (2013-15).
Qualifications
- PGCert in Higher Education, Coventry University
- PhD, Mechanical Engineering, INSA de Lyon (France)
