Dr Tim Aldsworth

MSc Biotechnology and MBA Biotechnology Management, and Senior Lecturer in Biotechnology

Tim has a BSc in Microbiology and a PhD in Oral Microbiology. He has 7 years’ experience as a postdoctoral laboratory researcher, and has been teaching since 2001. Tim has won a number of SfAM and SGM grants, and some of the students undertaking this work have been able to present their work to international conferences. Tim has published a range of papers and book chapters, and was recently elected to serve on the Executive Committee of the Society for Applied Microbiology.
