I am also the lead for organising Criminology field trips to international destinations such as New York City and Poland. I also volunteer as a Research Officer for The Loop, a charity providing innovative drug harm reduction interventions within music festivals, clubs and city centres. Research interests
My doctorate research focused on the issue of drug use and drug dealing within nightlife tourist resorts. This involved ethnographic research with British tourists on the Spanish island of Ibiza. The research has produced two journal articles and three book chapters. My current research interests lie within cultural and popular criminology. I am involved with ongoing research with The Loop, promoting harm reduction initiatives relating to illicit drug use within music festivals and similar party spaces.
