Coventry first post-92 uni to feature in combined national rankings

Coventry University is the top-placed – and the only – modern university in a newly-published league table combining the performances of UK higher education institutions across all the major rankings.

The Times Higher Education magazine’s ‘table of tables’ for UK unis – which ranks the country’s top 30 based on results from the Guardian University Guide, the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide and the Complete University Guide – places Coventry 23^rd overall.

A new entry for 2016 in the THE’s annual table, Coventry University becomes the only post-1992 institution ever to feature in the list.

It follows strong performances in each of the UK’s three main domestic university rankings – including an unprecedented top 15 placing in the Guardian guide – and in the National Student Survey 2015, in which students voted Coventry to top spot for personal development.
