On Friday 8th November 2013 over 300 students attended Coventry University London Campus’ fifth graduation ceremony. Graduates and guests attended the ceremony at 8 Northumberland Avenue – a former grand hotel in the heart of the City of London. Pro-Chancellor David Burton and Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr David Pilsbury welcomed everyone to the historic ballroom setting. Degrees were then awarded by Coventry University London Campus’ CEO, Dr Janet Hannah.
Tahsin Tasnia (MBA International Fashion Management), and Daniel Schroder (MBA Global Business), two graduates, reflected on their experiences as students at Coventry University London Campus in an address to the assembly, followed by Daniel Schroder and Nneka Marygold Okani (MBA Global Business) each receiving the Outstanding Overall Achievement Award.
When asked how Daniel felt upon receiving the award, he replied: “I am feeling very excited and shocked at the moment, as I was only expecting to be graduating today. It’s an absolute pleasure to have received this award, as you work towards graduating, but I have achieved so much more by studying at Coventry University London Campus”.
The excitement and shock was also shared by Nneka, who reflected on her achievements as the following:
“I am so elated right now to have received an extra award for all my hard work and dedication. I knew I was graduating today, but to have been nominated for this award has made this day even more special. Thank you Coventry University London Campus”
