University celebrates new location with Cutlers Exchange launch

Coventry University London celebrated the opening of its newest location at Cutlers Exchange last month.

The launch of the Postgraduate Centre and Financial Suite was the perfect opportunity for staff members and esteemed guests to enjoy the new facilities, and featured a selection of special guest speakers. This included Vice-Chancellor Professor John Latham, Chinese Embassy Minister Counsellor Wang Yongli and the Chief Executive of the British Council, Sir Ciarán Devane, all of whom gave speeches regarding the importance of international education.

John Latham said, “Coventry University has always seen itself as a global player, and is proud of the fact that we’re now the third largest recruiter of international students within the UK.”

Regarding the importance of international university experiences, Sir Ciarán commented “we are all better for it, as no single institution from any single country can solve our global problems. It’s the interchange of ideas, knowledge and discoveries between countries that allows us to learn, which makes the world a better, safer and more prosperous place.”
