Students graduating with an MBA or MSc from Coventry University London Campus now have even more reasons to celebrate. Graduating with an MBA or MSc from the Modern University of the Year should already get top employers interested in what London Campus graduates have to offer but Coventry University London Campus have just taken their programmes a step further by mapping an internationally recognised qualification to selected MBA and MSc programmes.
Coventry University London Campus has worked with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) to map selected MBA and MSc modules to the CMI syllabus. As a result of this, students who pass two specific MBA or MSc modules on their way to achieving the full qualification can be awarded the CMI Certificate Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership (subject to registering as a CMI member. CMI membership fees apply).
Dr Svetla Stoyanova-Bozhkova from the London Campus who led the mapping project commented:
This is a great achievement and recognition of the high academic standards of our MBA and MSc programmes. This means that our academic offer is aligned with the values of the leaders in the business world and our graduates will be more employable and ready for their desired career. The modules students need to pass include Sustainable Strategy – from Planning to Implementation and Marketing in a Global Age or Project Management. These modules are part of the academic programme, which means that students will not have to take additional tests.
The CMI is the UK awarding body for management and leadership qualifications. It is the only chartered professional body dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence. It counts more than 100,000 members and is internationally recognised as the professional body that set the standards in management.
Achieving the CMI Certificate Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership is a step towards the highly desirable Chartered Manager title.
