Head of Alumni and External Relations gains Freedom of City of London

Carole Still, Head of Alumni and External Relations at Coventry University London has recently been awarded the Freedom of the City of London. The City of London Freedom is a prestigious award and one of London's oldest traditional ceremonies, dating back to 1237. Today, the City of London Corporation has a unique role to support & promote London as the world’s leading international finance & business centre, to attract new business to the capital & the UK & to work in partnership with local communities to increase skills, & employment.

Regarding the prestigious recognition Carole says, "I'm immensely proud and honoured to have been granted the Freedom of the City of London for my work in promoting education, employability skills and business networking.  I will continue to promote this glorious city through Coventry University's City of London campus and as a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Educators". 

Carole has been a keen supporter of the City of London’s education and business affairs for 30 years.  Her role with Coventry University London began in February 2010, six months before the campus opened to students. Since then, Carole has worked tirelessly with students and employers to develop and deliver the Coventry University London commitment to deliver career-ready, global enterprising graduates.
