London Campus Students Visit World Travel Market

MSc Hospitality and Tourism Management students recently visited the World Travel Market exhibition at the London Excel Exhibition and Convention Centre. The field trip was organised as part of their academic experience to help them understand the industry first hand and interact and network with the industry professionals.

“In one of the seminars, whilst taking pictures of the exhibition, I was approached by Ben Walker, editor in chief of publication of IHS magazine. Not only was I given the opportunity to have my photographs published within IHS magazine, it allowed me to interact with an industry professional face-to-face” said Syed Muhammed Muntazir Hasnain-Zaidi

This academic field trip also allowed students to learn in depth about the business and management aspects of hospitality and tourism by visiting the various stands, listening to their presentations and taking part in experience-based activities organised by the different exhibitors at the event.
