As part of our commitment to delivering career-ready, global enterprising graduates, Coventry University London Campus has recently added another key employer to our list of corporate partners. We have teamed up with Genesis Oil and Gas Consultancy Ltd, a leading oil and gas service provider with offices in 16 countries, to offer tuition fee scholarships of £5000 towards the Oil and Gas Management MBA programme delivered at Coventry University London Campus.
Genesis operates in consultancy, subsea engineering and onshore and offshore projects. Its clients include major oil and gas and independent exploration companies.
With this new scholarship scheme, Genesis and Coventry University London Campus aim to support global talent in the oil and gas industry.
Scholarships for our October 2014 entry open for application on 15 March 2014. Before applying for the scholarships, students must already hold an offer for the Oil and Gas Management MBA programme at Coventry University London Campus.
Our partnership with Genesis, signed last month at the Genesis Headquarters in London, fosters wider collaboration including easier access to securing internships for high calibre students.
Internship and consultancy students from Coventry University London Campus come to us with a range of skills developed through a mixture of personal experience and what they learned so far in their MBA. They are professional, enthusiastic and full of innovative ideas. We consider it to be a win/win relationship. Genesis gains insights in business analysis and market entry strategy and the students gain the experience of working in the industry with a leading consultancy company. Through this partnership, we hope to attract even more talent to the London Campus and Genesis Oil and Gas Limited.
Carla Regan, Global Business Development Director at Genesis who was instrumental to this collaboration said:
Successful internship candidates from Coventry University London Campus have already had the opportunity to work on real-life projects at Genesis. Most recently, a group undertook an exciting project during which the group had had regular meetings with key personnel at the company, culminating in a report and presentation to the Board of Directors of Genesis.
Coventry University London Campus is committed to developing outstanding leaders who are prepared for working globally. Our MBA programmes give students the chance to apply their learning through internships, simulation and consultancy projects. We are delighted to partner with Genesis to nurture talent and develop outstanding leaders for the global oil and gas industry.
