Student secures internship at The Ritz, London

MBA Global Financial Services student Demet Akcay from Turkey, recently secured a nine week internship within the Finance department at the prestigious Ritz Hotel, London.

For over a century, The Ritz has been the benchmark by which other hotels are measured. Known for its sheer grandeur, opulence and beauty, this iconic London landmark has been home to guests in London since 1906.

The Ritz has become legendary for its delivery of elegance, experience and sophistication through the personal service and attention to detail offered by their team. Using the industry skills and professional knowledge gained through her MBA, along with the support and guidance from the dedicated Employability Team at Coventry University London Campus, Demet succeeded through two interviews conducted by The Ritz.

Working closely with both the Finance and Purchasing Directors, Demet will be able to apply her academic knowledge and professional skills into practise, whilst gaining invaluable first-hand experience.
