Early Payment Discount

Award details and eligibility

Once an applicant has received a conditional offer and accepted their offer, on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree course starting in May 2024, to be eligible they must meet the following conditions:

• Coventry University, May 2024 – A priority visa holder's full tuition fee deposit as outlined in their offer letter must be cleared funds in our account by Monday 29 April 2024.
• Coventry University London, May 2024 – A priority visa holder's full tuition fee deposit as outlined in their offer letter must be cleared funds in our account by Monday 6 May 2024.
• Coventry University, September 2024 – An applicant’s full tuition fee deposit as outlined in their offer letter must be cleared funds in our account by Monday 22 July 2024.
• Coventry University London, September 2024 – An applicant’s full tuition fee deposit as outlined in their offer letter must be cleared funds in our account by Monday 29 July 2024.
• Applicants must have successfully conducted and passed a credibility interview where applicable (this will be outlined in their offer letter if it is a requirement).
• Applicants must be self-funded and paying international tuition fees.

Applicants can only combine this discount with our Vice-Chancellor Postgraduate Scholarship or our Vice-Chancellor Undergraduate Scholarship and where applicable, our Direct Applicant Country Scholarship. The total amount awarded for your first year will be deducted off your first year’s tuition fee, final payment (or it will be deducted off your first payment where you are asked for your first year’s full tuition fee, upfront).

Details of your tuition fee payments due will be outlined in your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). Applicants from Pakistan may be required to pay their deposit earlier which will be outlined in their offer letter. This is due to the Visa processing delays currently being experienced and the need to release CAS letters sooner for this group of applicants.

Terms and conditions

• All scholarships and discounts will be applied after enrolment.
• The scholarship/discount is only applicable for May and September 2024 entry.
• The scholarship discount is only available to Coventry University and Coventry University London international applicants (excluding EU).
• The scholarship/discount is only available for full-time undergraduate (including top-ups) and postgraduate degrees.
• The scholarship/discount will be awarded at the entire discretion of Coventry University.
• The scholarship/discount is only available to self-funded students; sponsored students are not eligible.
• The scholarship/discount requires a deposit payment by the deadline given above.
• This scholarship/discount is only combinable with those scholarships/discounts named above. It is not combinable with any other scholarship, bursary or discount including our Alumni Discount.
• The scholarship/discount outlined is not open to applicants to CU Coventry, CU Scarborough, CU London, Coventry University Wroclaw, Coventry University Online or to our International Pathways Programme.
• The University's decision on the interpretation of eligibility criteria is final and there is no right of appeal. You must comply with all requests for additional information to establish your eligibility in the timeframes specified and you must provide any proofs requested by the stated deadlines in your offer letter.
• The University reserves the right to withdraw the discount from anyone who is found to have misled the University about any aspect of their eligibility and to seek repayment of any monies already paid by appropriate means.
• There is no right of appeal against the University's decision in relation to your eligibility for the discount. You may make a complaint if you believe that you have not been considered for the discount because of a procedural error.
• The University reserves the right to amend or withdraw the scholarship/discount at any time.
