Dr Chi Tran started her academic career in 2015 with a PhD in Finance. She is also recognised as a Fellow in Higher Education (FHEA) from 2019. Chi previously held roles at Queen Mary University of London and the University of Leicester before she joined Coventry University London in 2021.
During the years at CUL, Chi has led modules related to Quantitative Methods, Risk Management, Business Analytics, and Economics for both undergraduate and graduate levels. Chi enjoys sharing her knowledge, and her experience and applying different teaching approaches to benefit students’ performance.

Research and Consultancy
Chi has developed her research to cover Financial Risk Management using Agent-based model with Monte Carlo simulation. Her research interests consist of Systemic Risk, xVA, regulatory and banks’ stability.
