Dr Nahid Rozalin

Dr Nahid Rozalin is Senior Lecturer and Course Director for MBA Global Business. She has over fifteen years of experience in teaching and research in HE. Prior to joining at the Coventry University London, Dr Rozalin worked as Lecturer and Course Leader (Director) for BA Global management at the Regent’s University London for over eight years. She also worked at the University of Bedfordshire as Visiting Lecturer and Research Assistant for four years. Dr Rozalin holds a PhD in International Human Resource Management in which she explored the transferability of Human Resource Policies and Practices of Northern European telecommunication MNCs foreign Subsidiaries. She worked closely with a wide range of senior executives in European and South Asian multinational corporations, ministry and variety of industry experts during her PhD research. She also worked in the banking and telecommunication sector prior to start her career in the education sector. Dr Rozalin is experienced in supervising PhD students as well as supervising the dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has designed, developed and led a variety of modules related to leadership, organisational behaviour and international HRM at her current and previous workplaces. Dr Rozalin is a Fellow of Advanced HE (formerly HEA), a member of British Academy of Management and editor and reviewer of international journals.

Research and Consultancy
Dr Rozalin’s research interest lies in international and comparative human resource management, institutional and cultural theories, transfer of practices of MNCs, leadership and education research. She has received several awards and honours and has secured grants from various institutions for her academic achievements. Grant worth approx. £80,000 was secured for her PhD from the Business and Management Research Institute at University of Bedfordshire in 2010, grant worth £12,000 was secured for her MA from London Metropolitan University under the Postgraduate Scholarship scheme in 2008, and grants worth BDT 15,000 in total were secured from the Bangladesh Government during 1998-2004 for outstanding results in BBA (Hons) and A Level. Dr Rozalin is currently involved in several commercial projects at the Coventry University London.
