Yvonne, a seasoned academic has taught in academia for a number of years, teaching at Coventry University since 2011. She specialises in teaching Human Resource Management, Business Research Methods and Professional Development related topics. Her extensive international industry background lends a unique dimension to her teaching, enabling effective engagement in diverse, multicultural settings.
Yvonne is recognised for spearheading impactful international initiatives on campus, including organising and hosting events like International Week, Business Simulation Week and Employability Week, drawing participants from several countries. She also orchestrated and accompanied students for global business case competitions, fostering networking opportunities, and securing runner-up positions.
Yvonne infuses her industry acumen and employability fervour into modules she leads like Professional Practice, Learning, Coaching, and Technology-Enabled Practices in HRM, as well as leading and supervising Postgraduate Internship and Dissertation projects. She also has experience of team management, course directorship and curriculum development, further enriching the academic landscape.

Research and Consultancy
Yvonne has experience of working in consultancy, where she specialised in Continued Professional Development and Training. She demonstrated expertise in designing customised strategies to enhance skills and competencies, empowering employees to excel in the workplace. Participants have included business managers, academics, international business students and trainers. Yvonne has managed to deliver tangible results, fostering individual professional growth contributing to driving organisational success. Additionally, her PhD research investigates the multifaceted aspects of graduate workplace readiness and employability, examining diverse viewpoints to grasp the holistic demands and expectations of graduates entering the working world.
