Study something you love

I chose to study here because of the curriculum, the teaching and academic results, and the employability rating. I also had friends who studied here, and they gave me their honest feedback and opinions. The university also offers a flexible timetable, a great location and the opportunity to start some great friendships.

The best part about BA Global Business Management is that it allows you to study a wide range of subjects – from accounting to marketing – and teaches you how to make real business decisions that you might face in the workplace.

I definitely recommend the course, largely because of the teaching quality. I think the tutors are great here. They’re always willing to help you when you need it, and they have open office hours which gives you the chance to meet them to go through any issues you have.

The course also helps you develop your soft skills. At first, I hated doing presentations and would shake while doing them. Now I love them! It’s also taught me how different departments interact within a business, and how customers interact with them.

In the future, I’d like to work in marketing or strategy for a big corporation – particularly in technology – so maybe Google.

The support staff are also amazing. They’re so willing to help you, even if you go to them with the same problem three or four times. Everyone is so professional, and you’re treated like an adult which helps you to develop personally.

Although I originally applied to Coventry, I thought London would be a great place to make connections. Plus, it’s a great place to find part-time jobs, which allows you to sustain your education and lifestyle – and it’s a city which you’ll never get bored of!
