CU London is preparing to welcome students to its second site, in the heart of the Greenwich Peninsula for the first time.
Students will be able to join the CU London courses on the new site across three floors of the 6 Mitre Passage building from November 2020.
CU London already has an established campus in Dagenham, and is opening the new facility to provide a replacement to the temporary campus, which supported students affected by the closure of the Greenwich School of Management last year.
The new building will feature modern study areas as well as open-plan breakout spaces and a library. It’s designed to be a modern, contemporary learning space just a three-minute walk from North Greenwich tube station.
While existing students formerly based in Greenwich will be moving to the new site, CU London (Greenwich) is also accepting applications from new students to start as early as November across four existing subjects including Business Management and Leadership, Law and Practice, Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Oil, Gas and Energy Management. A Business Foundation programme will provide an entry route to any of those degree programmes for students aspiring to higher education.
Students can now also apply for each of the academic year’s other available intake dates including January, February, April and June of 2021.
CU London is part of a wider group, that also includes CU Scarborough and CU Coventry, delivering education differently to traditional degree courses – with a condensed, focused timetable so that students can fit classes around other commitments such as work or childcare. Each academic year is split into six blocks, so students can start at one of six points across each year.
CU London's success in Barking and Dagenham began in 2017, and our team is very excited to offer our courses from this second site in Greenwich. We are grateful to all colleagues from across Coventry University Group, our staff, students and partners for enabling this journey, as we build an even stronger learning community across these two key boroughs in South and East London.
Andy Ginn, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor at CU London
Students at the new site in Greenwich will have access to Student Support teams that provide assistance to students throughout their studies. The Group’s Talent Team also provides careers, work experience and employability services to students both pre and post-graduation.
We’re delighted to be able to offer many existing CU London students the opportunity to study at our new Greenwich site with contemporary facilities and a great location from November 2020. We’re also extremely excited to accept applications for the first time ever from new students wishing to join us in Greenwich.
