The very first graduates from Coventry University’s branch campus in Egypt have been celebrating their academic achievements.

Students at The Knowledge Hub in Cairo, which delivers a number of Coventry University courses, donned their caps and gowns for the campus’ inaugural graduation ceremony on Friday, 8 December.

Nearly 300 students made up the first ever cohort to collect their degrees from The Knowledge Hub, which is a collaboration with El Sewedy Education, a private investor in higher education initiatives in Egypt.

Coventry University has worked closely with The Knowledge Hub to deliver undergraduate courses across the schools of Engineering, Computing, and Design and Media. The graduating students have earned degrees in:

  • BEng Civil Engineering
  • BEng Mechanical Engineering
  • BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • BSc Computing
  • BSc Computer Science
  • BSc Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity
  • BA Digital Media
  • BA Graphic Design
  • BA Interior Architecture and Design

Any graduation ceremony is a fantastic occasion for students and staff alike but as this is The Knowledge Hub’s inaugural event it is doubly special.

Coventry University Group is committed to creating better futures on home soil and abroad, while empowering the next generation by delivering excellence in teaching across a diverse range of subjects.

We are confident that the skills these students in Egypt have learned over the past three years mean they can make a real difference to their own lives and their communities.
