Leadership development specialists Acua Solutions Ltd - a group company of Coventry University - has strengthened its health sector operations with the appointment of a new associate client director.
The company, which works with organisations to deliver bespoke management and leadership training including to several NHS trusts across the UK, has brought in Amanda Royston to grow its presence in the sector.
Amanda has extensive experience in this area, including 12 years within the NHS, which included roles as Director for the West Midlands South Health Innovation & Education Cluster (WMSHIEC) and Programme Consultant for West Midlands Local Education and Training Board (WMLETB).
Amanda has also previously worked as Head of Workforce Strategy and Planning for University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and Associate Head of Medical Workforce for NHS West Midlands, leading the introduction of Modernising Medical Care.
The 46-year-old is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and spent 12 years with Sainsbury's in a range of management roles prior to joining the NHS.
Jeannine Mortlock, managing director of Acua Solutions, said Amanda will play a key role in building on the organisation's strong footing in the health sector.
Amanda has an invaluable amount of experience in the sector so her addition is a great coup for Acua Solutions.
