‘Face the future, tools for the modern media age’

Wednesday 24 November

Humber Lecture Theatre, Coventry University (1.30 – 4.30pm)

Co-produced with the BBC College of Journalism, this free, one day conference brings together a line-up of distinguished guests from the world of media who will be looking at ways to use the internet creatively and profitably in the modern world.

Speakers at the event include: journalism guru, Jeff Jarvis of NYU, The editor of BBC News Online, Steve Herriman, The editor of Sky News Interactive, Julian March and Paul Bradshaw of ‘Help Me Investigate.’

The event will be chaired by Kevin Marsh, the Executive Editor of the BBC College of Journalism.

All are welcome and entry is free.

David Yelland is a British writer, a former journalist and editor of The Sun newspaper (1998 – 2003) and a Coventry University graduate.

He will be talking about his life and career.
