International Visiting Professor

Professor Sonja Olin Lauritzen of Stockholm University has been appointed as an International Visiting Professor to SURGE.  Sonja visited the University in February where she was introduced to colleagues with related interests.  Sonja is currently editing the Sociology of Health and Illness monograph ‘Children, health and well-being: policy debates and lived experience’ with Geraldine Brady. The call for abstracts attracted a large number of high quality international papers and contributors have been invited to submit their papers by July. Professor Olin Lauritzen will return to Coventry in August and looks forward to making connections with other academics.
