Coventry University is up seven places in the 2014 Complete University Guide league table published today, and it also ranks in the UK’s top 10 for degrees in the field of food science.
The rise in overall ranking sees the University secure its position as one of the UK’s top ten modern universities and the second-highest placed modern university in the Midlands, up to 58th overall from 65th in 2013.
A number of courses in the University’s Faculty of Health and Life Sciences were ranked amongst the very best in their field, with the undergraduate BSc degrees in dietetics, food and nutrition, and human nutrition and food science scoring particularly strongly for student satisfaction and graduate prospects.
Professor Madeleine Atkins, Vice-Chancellor of Coventry University, said:
We are delighted that our ongoing improvements in performance and reputation are reflected once again in the national league tables. Delivering a high-quality, overall experience for our students remains a key priority for the University, and our staff are committed to ensuring that students reach their full academic potential and secure a good job when they graduate.
