Coventry University’s Institute of Applied Entrepreneurship (IAE) will showcase its expertise and services at the West Midlands Cloud, Data & Smart Mobility EXPO in Birmingham next week.
The EXPO, which takes place at the city’s Millennium Point on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 November, aims to boost business growth by bringing together international companies and members of government and academia to identify new collaboration opportunities.
With over 50 Exhibitors present, 30 Masterclasses taking place and leading business speakers from across the country in attendance, the EXPO which is part of Global Big Data Festival Week, will introduce business owners to the latest movements in technology and innovation to ensure that they stay ahead of future requirements.
The IAE will share its latest business support package – the Open Innovation Programme – with an estimated 600 delegates who are expected to attend. The Open Innovation Programme is a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) supported initiative devised to match up the innovative ideas of SMEs with the corporate might of larger organisations to bring benefits to both parties – and to the economy.
Louise Marjoram, senior project manager at the IAE and leader of the Open Innovation Programme, said:
We are delighted to be key partners at this exciting event, the largest of its kind outside of London.
Increasingly, businesses are appreciating the need to collaborate and that it’s critical to their survival, to job creation and to growth. At the Institute of Applied Entrepreneurship we have a package of free consultancy support that will allow businesses to work together to encourage innovation and growth.
Delegates attending the EXPO can take advantage of one to one meeting opportunities, augmented reality demos, brokerage events, ‘Dragons Den’ style workshops, an exhibition and keynote sessions featuring leading business representatives.
The West Midlands Cloud, Data & Smart Mobility EXPO will take place on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 November at Millennium Point, Curzon Street, Birmingham B4 7XG.
