ESRC Impact Acceleration Account Award
The ESRC awarded Coventry University a £1.25 million Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) in March 2022 to deliver a five-year programme of impact activities, starting in April 2023.
This is the first IAA award that Coventry University has ever received reflecting our strategic commitment to research, our successful REF2021 submission, and the research being delivered by researchers in our research centres.
IAAs are focused, institutional funding streams designed to enable universities to unlock the impact of their regional, national, and international economic and social sciences research.
The awards support a breadth of impact activities that allow funding to be used in flexible, responsive, and creative ways. They provide research organisations with the agility to make decisions about how to invest in impact in ways that best suit institutional strategies and opportunities. The awards also add value to existing funding and take advantage of new or unforeseen opportunities to facilitate the development of impact.
The Festival of Social Science
Coventry University is delighted to announce that it is taking part in the ESRC Festival of Social Science (FoSS) 2023. The festival is an annual celebration of the social sciences and a key element of ESRC’s commitment to promote awareness of UK social science research to new audiences. This year the festival features exciting and creative events run by 42 partners.
