12th International conference on Superplastic Forming. This conference has been established in 2001 as a platform for transfer of knowledge between academic and industrial leaders in the field of SPF and warm forming, including modelling, tool design, lubrication, industrial applications of SPF and similar topics. Conference to be organised by Coventry University and Chaired by Professor Richard Dashwood. Social program will include Evening Reception at the Coventry Transport Museum, Evening Gala dinner at St. Mary’s Guildhall and Industrial visit to Jaguar Land Rover plant in Solihull.
All PhD students presenting during the conference will be automatically included in a student competition and judged by an expert panel. The prize for the best student presentations will be presented to the best student by FormTech during the evening Gala dinner on the 14th of September.

For those flying into Birmingham International (BHX), Virgin Trains take 10 minutes to get to Coventry Rail Station. For those coming from London, Virgin Trains from London Euston take around an hour. Coventry Rail Station is located in the City Centre, meaning walking to Coventry University or indeed any of the recommended hotels will take no longer than 15 minutes. Alternatively, taxis are readily available from outside the station.
There are three recommended hotels to stay in around the City Centre; the Ibis, the Ramada and the Premier Inn. All three have been marked in red on the map below and all are within walking distance to the Engineering & Computing Building, Coventry University, where the EuroSPF 2017 will be based.
