Join CPC for an online virtual conversation between CPC Co-director Dr Jacqueline Cawston and Philipp Wittwer from Dornbirn City Archive, one of our project partners on the Erasmus+ funded project ViRAL (Virtual Reality Archive Learning).
With a starting point in the archives and cultural heritage across Europe’s post-industrial communities, specifically using five archives from Dornbirn (AT), Wuppertal (DE), Osijek (HR), Torres Novas (PT) and Coventry (UK), and the adult educational skills of all the partners, VIRAL aims to enrich the key competences of adults facing fewer opportunities through a new adult education program using virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and 360-degree movies (360) technology tools and documentary methods.
The CPC Missed Connections online events exist to recreate more general conversations between project partners that may have happened during the in person meetings that were missed due to COVID19. Giving space to reflect on the CPC’s projects and how they relate to wider themes of the Postdigital context.
The conversation will last for approximately 40-45 minutes, with a chance at the end for attendees to ask questions.
Email CPC Research Assistant Holly Turpin to register for the event and to receive the link to the conversation on the day.
