Coventry University Professor made a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences

Professor Megan Crawford, Director of Post Graduate Programmes at Coventry University’s Centre for Global Learning: Education and Attainment (GLEA), has received a prestigious fellowship from the Academy of Social Sciences.

Promoting social science across the United Kingdom, the Academy represents a network of 90,000 social scientists, including 1400 Fellows.

The award is granted to those who have made outstanding contributions within the field, and can be in any area or discipline, including research, teaching, and professional practice.

Professor Crawford is one of the UK’s foremost researchers in all phases of education, emotion and leadership, and educational policy.

I am honoured to become a fellow of this prestigious institutions following an Award recommendation from peers in my field. My work covers theory and practice, and is an area of crucial importance in a time that poses great change and challenge in the education field.
