PhD Researcher studying a PhD in ‘Petroleum Economic and cost Surgery on oil and gas fields’
So far I have made a lot of contacts and networks with experts and academia in the area of my research, which has provided me with valuable information to take ideas about my research forward. Joining professional bodies and associations is definitely very important to any research candidate.
I am one of the winners of (RMMLF) Rocky Mineral Mountain Law Foundation scholarship which allowed me to attend a short course in International Oil and Gas Law from Discovery to Decommission at Houston Texas US. This was only possible with the aid of my one of my supervisors, Dr Adrian Mark Wood.
My supervisory team encouraged me to read a lot of articles with a reference to specific academic and technical papers. These papers have equipped me with better knowledge to understand in my research area. Through my supervisory team encouragement, I have been able to write an article titled ‘Economic and the Development of Hydrocarbon resource in Ghana’ which I am hoping with be considered for publication.
All these achievements in my PhD journey are a result of the great relationships Coventry University creates between the PhD students and their supervisors and the location of appropriate supervisors to students.
