Coventry University is a member of the Turing University Network, a network committed to offering UK universities the opportunity to engage and collaborate both with The Alan Turing Institute and its broader networks in academia, industry and the public sector.
The goals of the Alan Turing Institute align with core themes within the Coventry University 2030 Research Strategy, with its focus on challenge-led research, innovation, knowledge exchange and strategic partnerships that support these activities.
The university is well placed to participate in this network and the active global debate of the benefits and challenges of AI.

The Alan Turing Institute is the UK’s national institute for data science and artificial intelligence.
The Institute is named in honour of Alan Turing, whose pioneering work in theoretical and applied mathematics, engineering and computing is considered to have laid the foundations for modern-day data science and artificial intelligence.
The Institute has three ambitious goals:
