The Doctoral College comprises:
Admissions Team
The team administers and support applicants and academic staff in facilitating and processing applications to Research Degrees across the University. They coordinate all application processing from submission of application through to, confirming offers and initiating enrolment for all new Postgraduate Researchers.
Postgraduate Researcher Lifecycle Team
The PGR Lifecycle Team in the Doctoral College will support you, your supervisory team and your research centre throughout your journey as a Postgraduate Researcher at Coventry University.
The Team support Postgraduate Researchers, supervisory teams and research centres with regulatory and policy queries and processes relating to:
- Enrolment
- Annual Progress Review Panel queries
- Registration
- Module Registration
- Thesis Submission
- Viva Voce Examination
Collaborative PhD Programmes Team
Coventry University’s research strategy fosters internal synergies, as well as national and international collaborations, by co-investing in and co-creating research programmes with partners.
The Collaborative PhD Programmes team is responsible for developing, managing and reviewing doctoral partnerships with partner universities, foreign government sponsors, business and industrial partners and the third sector (NGOs, philanthropic foundations) in the UK and globally. The team works closely with the Research Centres and Enterprise and Innovation and Group Legal Services to establish collaborative programmes such as dual award, cotutelle and industry funded doctoral programmes.
