A research degree is a commitment that can take many years and during this time a PGR’s circumstances may change. To support and enable PGRs to complete their programmes, the University permits some defined changes to registration (subject to approval).
Doctoral and Researcher College Board has oversight of and takes an active role in the approval and review of our Research Degrees, Transnational Research Degrees and Collaborative Doctoral Programmes.
Registration for a Research degree is a commitment and requires a PGR to attend and engage with the University in order to successfully complete their programme of research.
The Postgraduate Research Admissions and Application policy covers the application and admission of all Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) to the University.
When you apply for a PhD you will need to present us with a well thought out research proposal, in addition to your academic achievements. The last dates for applications to research programmes and enrolment date are described.
