My placement at Network Rail

Anne Wandu is currently  working with the asset management team at Network Rail as an asset engineer following the completion of her second year studying Civil Engineering BEng (Hons). This role involves looking after assets such as structures.


An insight into the games industry

Coventry University students looking to break into the games industry had the opportunity to attend a guest lecture by prominent 3D games artist Alex Beddows, held at the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing.


Placement helped me get a job

Louise Ayres graduated from Coventry University in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics. She is now working as an Analyst with HMRC at the Government Operational Research Service.


My placement at Boutsen Ginion Racing

For her placement, Oleg Karchevskyy worked at Boutsen Ginion Racing, a Belgian racing team currently competing in Touring Car Cup Europe and GT World Challenge series. The team has also previously raced in the European Le Mans Series and Eurocup Megane Trophy.


Travel inspired my studies

Connor Riddlesden is currently in his final year studying Mathematics BSc (Hons). With financial support from Coventry Universities Global Mobility team, Connor has worked, studied and experienced no less than three international trips in three years.


My placement at DENSO

For his placement, Hameed Abdelbaky was at the largest UK based manufacturing facility for the leading Japanese automotive company DENSO. His role focused on automation of the manufacturing process and trying to give the company a leading edge in the industry.


Life outside my course

Vanessa Stanley graduated with a BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering in 2019, and is now a graduate engineer at Siemens. As a student, she quickly discovered that Coventry University offered an incredible amount of extra opportunities outside of it.


My placement at BMW Group

Faith Falusi was fortunate to work for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars (RRMC) and MINI of the BMW Group, where he applied the knowledge gained from his course in both placements.
