International Experience
During your time here, course teams will provide you with the opportunity to take part in an overseas study trips to support your learning.
Each year many students from Coventry University’s School of Media and Performing Arts spend between three and 12 months studying abroad. Why not go abroad on a study placement, see the world and broaden your experience?
With the opportunity to work on live projects outside of the UK, learning a new language or improving your existing language skills will be beneficial. With that in mind, Coventry University offers all its students to join Linguae Mundi – a foreign language programme aimed at helping learners to explore different languages and cultures.
Within our School we host multicultural events including Flamenco Week and Romani Week, where we celebrate different elements of culture. Our exhibitions throughout the year look at internationalisation, and in the past we've enjoyed the East Winds Film Festival, the only major film festival of East Asian cinema outside of London.
Work experience
Our Employment Unit Teams alongside the Centre for Global Engagement offer various international working opportunities for students within the School of Media and Performing Arts.
We help find work opportunities and internships for all second year students that want to travel outside Europe, from Asia to Australia, giving students the chance to gain international experience and differentiate themselves from their peers after graduation. Coventry University provides incentives for prospective students including free foreign language classes and financial support.
