Research
Coventry University is investing in research excellence. We have invested £100 million in research; with a total spend of £150 million on our estate and facilities. Strategic partnerships
We have a number of strategic alliances across different sectors of industry. These partnerships enable the University to develop opportunities and raise its profile leading to a better quality of services delivered to students. The partnerships take many different forms ranging from long-term strategic alliances with larger companies such as Unipart Manufacturing and Jaguar Land Rover, to smaller project-based collaborations with SMEs. These are not only with commercial organisations but also with public sector bodies and government organisations such as the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
Consultancy projects
Can be run on an individual basis. Proposals will be provided in response to a specific client brief. Delivery is through specific, industrially experienced staff members identified for their practical expertise. Commercial consultancy provides high impact solutions for complex briefs in the shortest timeframes.
Development
Our diverse range of professional and short courses span an equally diverse portfolio of subjects, all designed with business in mind. We ensure that our organisational development programmes focus on the pressing and immediate challenges faced by businesses and the range of expertise within the University also allows us to deliver bespoke consultancy services. We work closely with our clients to understand their objectives, the development needs of their staff, the culture and expected behaviours and develop and design content that solves real and current business challenges to enable individuals to apply what they learn in their workplace.
