Sport Therapy Clinic

The Sports Therapy Clinic is run by final year Sport and Exercise Therapy students under the supervision of qualified staff with second year students providing a supervised massage clinic twice a week. The clinic provides advice, assessment and treatment for both acute and long standing problems.

What happens?

Appointments last for up to 50 minutes. During your clinic session you will be asked questions about your medical history, and your reasons for attending. You will then have a physical examination appropriate to the condition you are seeking attention for. Please bring shorts and/or a suitable top to wear during the examination.

The Sports Therapy Clinic does not have a car park. There is parking nearby via a pay and display car park, or you can park in the surrounding streets for a limited period of time.

Prices

Assessment and treatment by the third year students is £20 and available throughout the academic term time (October to March).

Sports massage provided by our second year students is £5 and only available at limited times during the week.

Out of term, the therapy clinic is open Wednesdays with treatments from academic staff costing £40.
