Explore Media and Journalism at Coventry University

Have you ever wanted to work in the thrilling world of media? You may want to take the perfect photograph or develop your own independent film. Our fantastic range of media and journalism courses can help develop your skills and knowledge, and they aim to give you an edge when you pursue your future career.

Each of our courses are developed with employability in mind by providing you with hands-on learning, with a great emphasis on location work, live projects and practice activities. Previous student-industry collaborations include Regional BBC, Creative City, Rolls-Royce and BBC Three.

Our purpose-built facilities embody emerging media. You would get access to dedicated and flexible creative learning environments, media spaces and industry-focused studios, featuring our newly built film studio, wireless suite of newsrooms, podcasting booths, TV studio, video editing suite, radio studio and Tank TV.

We aim to provide all our students with the chance to apply for an additional placement year*. A work placement would give you valuable experience in a real working environment, allowing you to make decisions about career paths upon graduation and giving you a competitive edge.
