Collaborative research projects
Coventry University and University of Warwick work together; to offer awards to projects bringing together Warwick and Coventry academics with cultural organisations in Coventry, to develop public engagement activities with impact which also invite the general public to participate and respond.
We are excited to share details of some of our projects that relate to Coventry City of Culture. These collaborative projects aimed to connect people and places through research, to enhance and accentuate the cultural importance of our city and its residents. We wanted to stimulate and promote research excellence that positively impacted Coventry.
Building on the work done by initiatives including the Warwick Commission on the Future of Cultural Value, the City of Culture partnership and Coventry City Council’s Cultural strategy, these awards invited applications to either continue research, complete small-scale work or as seed funding for larger projects.
