Academic Merit Award

About the Award

Coventry University Wrocław is proud to offer Academic Merit Scholarships to EU students who show exceptional academic achievement.

The award will give successful students a 20% discount on the tuition fee for their first year of study. It is available for the best and brightest EU students living in an EU country, who achieve the highest results in their Matura exams or equivalent qualifications.

Eligibility

The scholarship is available to all EU students who have enrolled for the first year of a full-time programme starting in 2023-24 academic year, with the final intake being June 2024 (see our Academic Calendar).  

The scholarships are allocated on a first come, first served basis to applicants on the basis of their academic merit. Allocation will be decided on assessment of the following:

• You must have enrolled for the first year of an undergraduate course starting in the 2023-2024 academic year at Coventry University Wrocław.
• You must have achieved your country's local qualification equivalent to completing the Polish Matura with at least 65% in 2 subjects at advanced level.

This award is only available for EU nationality students who are enrolling on a full-time course starting in the 2023-24 academic year, living in the EU and who are paying their full tuition fees as an EU student.

How to apply

In order to be considered for the Academic Merit Award you will need to submit an application form, which will be issued to all students who accept an offer and enrol for the first year of their studies at Coventry University Wrocław. The form needs to be completed within the first week of the first block of studies. The university will confirm the award to eligible students within the first four weeks of the first block.

Award payment

If eligible, the 20% discount on tuition fee will be applied at the outset if payment for the year is made in full, or on the final instalment.

Exclusions

Unfortunately you will not be eligible to apply for an Academic Merit Award if you are:

• An overseas student – please see the International Students page
• Have already received a tuition fee discount
• Already hold a degree qualification

The decision to award a student this scholarship is at the sole discretion of Coventry University Wrocław. Coventry University Wrocław reserves the right to award an appropriate number of scholarships from this category.
