Angola
International Pathways Programme
International Foundation Year (IFY)
Completion of Secondary School Certificate (Grade 12) with pass grades.
International Year One (IY1)

Master's Qualifying Programme (MQP)

Undergraduate
Students who hold a Habilitação Literárias (secondary school leaving certificate) score of 13/20 or above and pass the Entrance Examination and have completed either a period of state employment or pre-university education (Pre University Certificate with 12/20 and above in relevant subjects.
Students are required to have a UKVI IELTS score of at least 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill.
Top-Up
Students who have a Bacharel score of 11/20 and above from Universidade Agostinho Neto or recognised Private University. The first qualification to be obtained is the Bacharel, on completion of four years of study.
Students are required to have a UKVI IELTS score of at least 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill.
Postgraduate
Students who have a Licenciado score of 11/20 and above from Universidade Agostinho Neto or recognised Private University.
Students who have been awarded on completion of a five-year university course. In medicine, the Licenciado is awarded as a first degree after six years of study.

Ireland
Student finance
The rights of Irish residents to study in the UK are preserved under the Common Travel Area arrangement. If you are an Irish student and meet the residency criteria, you can study in England, pay the same level of tuition fees as English students and utilise the Tuition Fee Loan. To cover your living costs, you may also be eligible for a maintenance grant under the Irish Student Grant Scheme.
Entry requirements
Pass the Irish Leaving Certificate and achieve the relevant UK A-Level equivalent listed on each course page from five Higher Level subjects. For courses requiring Maths or Science at A Level, a pass at Higher Level with a minimum of grade H2 is required.
